On Wednesday March 19th 2014 in his 85th year. Dearly loved husband and soul mate of Margaret (Milroy). Dear father of four, grandfather of nine, great grandfather of twelve, great-great grandfather of one. He will be greatly missed by a brother, cousins, nieces, nephews and many long term friends from many years in sports, business and church activities.
The family will receive friends at the “THORPE BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL” 96 West Street on Monday March 24th from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 pm. A Celebration of his life will be held in the chapel on Tuesday March 25th 2014 at 11:00 am. Interment Farringdon Burial Ground. As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association or to the S.P.C.A. would be appreciated.
