Lee Norman Thorsen

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden and tragic passing of Lee Thorsen

on Tuesday March 22, 2016, in his 63rd year. Loving husband of Shelley, and proud father of Cole (Elizabeth), and Kiera (Kyle). Lee will be dearly missed by his mother Joyce (Bill), his sister Sherri and her children Chris and Andrea, his sisters-in-law & brothers-in-law and many nieces & nephews, and several close friends and family across Canada. Lee was predeceased by his father, Norman (Gladys).

Lee was a friend to many, and was well known for his involvement in the Brantford Aquatic Club, many curling clubs & teams, Fairview United Church, the IBEW and much more. He was a man of countless talents, including photography & woodworking. Lee was best known as a problem solver, and never met a challenge he would not face head on. Though he has left a hole in the lives of many, he will live on through our memories.

Friends and family of Lee are invited to attend his Celebration of Life on April 2nd at Thorpe Brothers Funeral Home (Carriage House), 96 West St, Brantford. The Thorsen family will welcome words of comfort from 7pm to 11pm, with a ‘Sharing of Memories Ceremony' to begin at 8pm.
