

ROSSIGNOLI, Norman - Suddenly, at Hamilton General Hospital on March 9th, 2012. Loving Husband of Anne for 46years. Father of Paul (Jenny), Lucy (Michael) Lemmon, Mark (Luisa), Carl (Luba) and Sara (Nathan) Beyerle. Sadly missed by grandchildren Desmond, Michelle, Chelsea, Lindsey, Kassy, Sadie, Andrew, Natalia, Sasha and Lucas. Beloved Son of Mary Josephine and the Late Carmine Rossignoli Sr. Brother of Edward (Lynn), Michael (Mary) and Carmine (Meira). Loving nephew of Sister Francis, Sister Claudia, and the Late Sister Elaine of St. Joseph’s Convent, Hamilton and the Late Mary Phyllis Rossignoli. Uncle to many nieces and nephews. Norman graduated from McMaster and Waterloo Universities with his Masters in Mathematics. He taught math at Ancaster High School for over 30 years. During this time, he played percussion with the Telephone City Musical Society Band. Upon his retirement he shared his love of music playing keyboard and singing at many senior centres. He was especially committed to performing for those with dementia. But mostly, he treasured his country home and the times he shared with his family and his dog Jake.
The family will receive friends at the THORPE BROTHERS’ FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 96 West Street on Tuesday, March 13th from 2-4 and 7-9pm with Parish prayers at 8:45pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, 17 Washington St., Paris, on Wednesday March 14th at 11am. Cremation. As an expression of sympathy donations to the Telephone City Musical Society would be appreciated by the family.
