Born on January 18th, 1929 Ozzie lived a beautiful life surrounded by so much love and admiration. He had an exceptional career co-owning his own masonry business McMillan and Stemmler Masonry Ltd. and has bricked some stunning houses and commercial buildings around Brantford including his own home that he resided in for over 40 years. Ozzie was passionate about watching various sports, he loved playing cards and was an outstanding euchre player, and he was a dancing machine who was unmatched on the dance floor. He was a lifelong member of the Brant Naval Veterans Club and was honoured to lay a wreath at the Remembrance Day service in Brantford and Milverton to honour veterans especially his brother. He was a hard worker and a true family man at heart. Many Sunday dinners were spent around the table playing cards and enjoying time together with family or whomever stopped by. Although he loved cooking and baking, some of his favourite meals were Chinese food and breakfasts at Kingswood! He was an avid gardener and enjoyed spending time outdoors.
He recently moved to Riverview Terrace where he made new friends and left a lasting impression on all of the hearts he touched there. Ozzie will always be thought of fondly by everyone that knew him. He was a kind and gentle man who loved deeply. He will also be forever missed by his dear friends Charlie and Gloria, many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and extended family.
