I just wanted to extend my condolences to the family. I met Patricia a few years ago at a family dinner. She was a pleasure to be around always smiling and made me feel as though I knew her years ago. I know she would be terrible missed by those who knew and loved her. May she rest in peace.

There is a very deep ache in my heart as Carol has been a dear friend throughout grade and high school together.  We began grade one at St. Mary's together upon introductions through our mother's who knew each other. 

After I was married and moved from Brantford, we stayed in touch throughout the years.  We have wonderful memories of visits with her and Doug, along with our mutual friends.  We are ever so thankful for the wonderful time she and Doug hosted for us in Florida.

Doug and family, Carol was a very special person.  She loved being with family and friends and made me feel so welcome all those years ago when I joined the Cunningham clan. But as years went on we became even closer, Carol had a way of keeping friends close to her and making them feel special. She will be missed so much by so many.

It is with deep sadness that I heard of the sudden passing of your wife and mom, Carol. I have only the fondest memories of the many days I spent  at the Cunningham home on Varadi Ave. Always welcoming, generous and kind, there was always room for the many friends who spent time at your home.  I feel blessed that I was one of them. What I remember most is the fun and laughter that always seemed to be part of whatever was going on.

We so much enjoyed having Carol as a part of our exercise class. Carol always came in with a smile.  She genuinely cared about others and was a great listener and friend. We feel so fortunate and blessed to have known her. 

It was an honour to have had Carol in our lives. George and I have many great memories of our wonderful times in Florida with Carol and Doug as our neighbours. We were, it seemed, always laughing when we were together.

Mrs. Cunningham was like a second Mother to me when Barb and I were growing up.  I spent countless nights sleeping over.
