It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Raymond Poremba, on April 20, 2021 at home in his 70th year. Beloved husband of Maria (nee Kurzawski). Loving father of Michael, Monica, and Sarah. Dziadzi to Willow and his granddoggy Ollie. Sadly missed by his sister Carol, sister-in-law Melissa and her children Alyna, Nancy and Joe, and many other nieces, nephews, family and friends. Raymond was predeceased by his parents Chester and Stella and his brother Richard. He will be greeted with kisses by his fur-baby Roxy in heaven. Raymond was a pharmacist who spent his career in Collingwood and Caledonia. He will be remembered for his quick-wit and special sense of humour. Special thank you to the paramedic team and to the police officers especially Constable Hannah Blackburn. Due to Covid-19 restrictions, a private family service will be held at the “THORPE BROTHERS’ FUNERAL HOME”, on Sunday, April 25, 2021 at 1pm, which will be livestreamed. A celebration of Raymond’s life will take place at a later date. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Kidney Foundation or the St. Joseph’s Parish Memorial Scholarship Fund would be appreciated.
