Robert "Bob" Michael May

Passed away peacefully surrounded by his family at St. Joseph’s Lifecare on Sunday, May 2, 2021 at the age of 88. Loving husband of 67 years to Catherine May (Dakin), recently deceased. Survived by his brother John “Jack” May and his sister Beverly McKerrall. Proud father of Lori (Tony) Petrella, Bob (Lynne) May, Katie (Mike) Boake, and Michael (Jayne) May. He will be lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Michael, Terry (Trish), Paul, Derek, Alisha, Christopher and Jonathan, as well as his great grandchildren Braeden and Makella. Family was central to Dad’s purpose in life, and he will be missed dearly by his children. Bob spent most of his time tinkering in the garage or searching the countryside for car parts and collectibles. He was a long-time member of the Historical Automobile Society of Canada (HASC). Family is comforted that Mom and Dad are “cruising” together again.

Cremation has taken place and a celebration of life will be held at a later date. The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the staff of St. Joseph’s Lifecare Centre for the exceptional care of both Mom and Dad during these challenging times.
