Peacefully at the Brantford General Hospital on Tuesday September 27, 2011 in his 86th year. Predeceased by his wife Margaret, daughter Anna Robitaille and son Powel. Dear father of Edward (Glenna), Linda Gburski and Peter. Dear grandfather to eight grandchildren and eight great grandchildren, also survived by one sister in Belarus. Steve was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 90.
The family will receive friends at the “Thorpe Brothers Funeral Home and Chapel”, 96 West Street on Saturday October 1st from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm. Legion Service at 1:00 pm followed by the funeral service in the chapel. Interment Mount Hope Cemetery on Monday . As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Ontario S.P.C.A. would be appreciated.
