Susan passed surrounded by her family and friends after a short battle with cancer. Beloved wife of Robert. Loving mother of Aimee (Steve) Tyers, of the UK and Julia (Corey) Foreman, of Brantford. Cherished daughter of Ruby and the late Derek Whitney. Survived by siblings Sandra (Fred) File, of London, ON and Dale (Sylvia) Whitney, of Brantford. She will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Sue was a long time employee of the Brant Haldimand Norfolk Catholic District School Board. She always looked forward to her next tropical vacation with dear friends Glenna and Brian Bennett and family. The family would like to thank the Stedman Community Hospice, Nurse Eva from Bayshore and Dr. Dath of Juravinski Cancer Centre for their exemplary care and support of the family.
The family will receive friends at the “THORPE BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL”, 96 West St., on Tuesday, May 22nd from 2-4pm. As per Susan’s wishes cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers donations to the Stedman Community Hospice or Juravinski Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
