Passed away in his 59th year on Monday, January 21st, peacefully at home in the loving company of his family. Beloved husband of Cynthia Smith (nee Somerville) and loving father of his sons and daughters-in-law Benjamin and Sherry, David and Brittany. He will be dearly missed by all his family including his sisters Irene (Sissie) Wallace, Rachelli (Colleen) Beckerman, and his brother Gene (Nipper) Smith, as well as his canine companion Brinkley. Also survived by two nephews and nieces and predeceased by his parents Gladys and Earl Smith. Jerry was a loving person, he had many favourite past times including golfing, watching movies, history and traveling with his soul mate, he was also a proud employee of Horizon Utilities for over 30 years. The family will receive friends at “THORPE BROTHERS’ FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL”, 96 West Street, on Thursday from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 pm.
