Avin Pearl (Porter) Lynch, passed away peacefully at home August 22.
She was born to Dr. William Avin and Bessie Porter in Higginsville, MO on September 24, 1927. She is survived by Joseph P. Lynch III, her loving husband of 76 wonderful years. They met in the spring of 1944 while he was visiting his sister in Tipton, MO., two houses up the street. After two short dates, six months of corresponding, and a request to her grandfather for her hand in marriage, a train ride from Missouri to Washington was made where on November 3,1944 they became Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Patrick Lynch III. This is a true love story that will last for eternity.
They have been blessed with three children, William Howard Lynch; Avin Jolene (Lynch) Keeling, (Michael); Joseph Patrick Lynch IV, (Sally). Five grandchildren,Joseph Patrick Lynch V (Shanna); Lauren Keeling; Kristen Keeling; Kelsie Lynch;Shannon (Lynch) Johnson, (Tyler)
Three great grandchildren, Hailey and Riley Lynch; Charlotte Johnson
