Carl was born and raised in Bremerton.
He graduated from Bremerton Highschool and the 4 year apprenticeship program at PSNS.
On graduation from the apprenticeship, he entered the US Army and after basic training was stationed at a Nike Missile site in Redmond Washington. It was at this time that he met and married Billie Brossard.
He is survived by 6 children, 11 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and 9 great-great-grandchildren.
When he left the Army, he returned to the shipyard, as a pipefitter for the next 8 years.
In 1965 he returned to Olympic Collage and earned a degree in Data Processing. Upon graduation he took a position as Computer Specialist at Keyport, where he retired from, in 1994.
He retired a second time from the small business "Then and Again Antiques" in 2004 and began to do just a little selling over the internet as a hobby. While he enjoyed collecting various things, his main interest was guns, toy cars, and old and/or rare marbles. His biggest love was fishing and hunting.
Owning an RV travel trailer, he traveled every state in the lower 48, but always returned to home on the Olympic Peninsula where family is.
