

Born on April 21, 1932 in Everett, WA. to James Henry “Hank” Mitchell and Isabel R. Foshey
He was married on December 16, 1971, in Port Orchard, WA, to Wilma “Midge” Reeves.
He worked at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard, as a Mechanic and Plannerman in Shop 02 (Transportation Shop), for 19 years.
He enjoyed traveling to Blue Grass Festival, and listening to Blue Grass music with his wife.
He served in the US Army for 3 years from April 1950 to April 1953 and served in the US Navy for 8 years from October 1953 to October 1961.
He is survived by four sons, Larry Reeves and his wife Charlie, of Olalla, Michael Reeves of Lake Havasu, Joe Reeves of Bremerton, Bill Mitchell and his wife Jessica of Washington DC; three daughters, Beverly Reeves of Seabeck, Machel Perala and her husband Norm of St. Clair Shores, Arlene Lawhorn and her husband Sean of Bonnie Lake; 26 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was proceeded in death by his wife Midge and his daughter Susan Reeves.
A private viewing will be held Monday March 15 at Miller-Woodlawn Memorial Park in Bremerton from 10:00 to 12:00 and a private family graveside service at 1:00.
