David Earl Wallace, 70, of Port Orchard, Wash. passed away on Dec. 27, 2017 at his home. David was born at the Naval Hospital in Bremerton, Wash. on Dec. 1, 1947. He graduated from Bremerton High School in 1966. David was a Vietnam Veteran who served in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1966 to 1969. After his honorable discharge, he worked as an air conditioning and refrigeration mechanic at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard for 25 years.
David was married to Vicki Armstrong (Moss) on Feb. 17, 1984. In his free time, he enjoyed camping, fly fishing, photography, and was an avid Seahawks fan. He also enjoyed feeding the squirrels from his front porch! David was a proud lifetime member of the VFW.
David is survived by his wife Vicki; his daughter Amy Armstrong; granddaughter Amanda Armstrong; and great-granddaughter Aliyanna Armstrong.
David is preceded in his death by his parents, John and Agnes Wallace; his brother John (Bud); and daughter Lisa Krugh.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to American Diabetes Association.
There will be a military ceremony and internment at Tahoma National Cemetery.
