Dayton Roy Benz, 79, was born April 6, 1936 in Los Angeles, California to Roy and Eunice Benz. He passed away December 10, 2015 in Bremerton, Washington. Dayton was an active bowler, hunter, fisherman, and diver. Dayton served 30 years in the United States Marine Corp where he eventually retired. He was a member of the Kitsap County Bowling Association. Dayton also recently had started to attend Calvary Chapel, in Silverdale, Washington.
Dayton was survived by his wife, Julia, brother David, sister Carol, and children Jim, Brian, Bill, Debbie, and Robin, and many grandchildren. He loved his family and his animals, and he will be greatly missed. Dayton Benz will be placed at Tahoma National Cemetery, 18600 SE 240th St, Kent, WA 98042.
