Don was loving and committed to his family and friends. His favorite hobbies included photography, storytelling, and wood work.
Donald is survived by his wife, Kathy; his son Michael; his stepchildren Joshua and Jenny, his grandchildren Ruby, Robert, Liz and Spencer; his sister Susan and her husband Tom, and his brother Dennis and his wife Ann. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ruby and Dennis Darling, his sister Mary Booher, and his brother Patrick Darling.
A celebration of life for Donald will be held Monday, June 16, 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Miller-Woodlawn Funeral Home & Memorial Park, 5505 Kitsap Way, Bremerton, Washington 98312.
**Hawaiian attire is encouraged.**
