Elena Sophia Mason

Elena was of the Jewish Faith and grew up in New London, CT. Elena attended college in Britain where she received her Masters in European History. Elena spoke several languages including Greek, French, and Yiddish. She met her husband Charles on New Year's Eve 1999 in Groton, CT and married 5 months later. Elena loved travel and lived in many areas including Connecticut, Maine, Washington, South Dakota, and London England.

Elena loved her Children, her dogs, Music, cooking meals for family and friends, Mystery Novels especially Agatha Christie, Black and White Films, Peanuts (Snoopy) and anything Historical especially European.

She is survived by her husband Charles Nathaniel Mason and son Edward Elijah Mason both of Silverdale WA. Elena also has a brother Dino Phillips formerly of New London, CT.

Elena was preceded in death by her twin children a son and daughter Edward Lee Mason and Helena Alexandra Mason, her mother Carol Jean Phillips(Haleftiras) of Turkey and her Father Peter James Philippou of Greece.

She is missed by all.
