He was born in Bellingham, Washington to Michael Edward Manley and Leontine McLliwain. He died May 1, 2014 with his family by his side at age 86. He graduated from South Kitsap High School and lived in Bremerton until January this year, then moved to Port Orchard with his brother. He owned the Chevron/Standard Gas Station on Callow for a number of years. Then he worked for Bremerton Oil; Lents; then Port Orchard Oil until retirement. He married his high school sweetheart Nancy Ruth Liller June 1948. They loved going to Reno every year until her death. He is preceded in death by his mother and father; his wife, brother David Edward Manley and a son George Manley Jr. He is survived by son Robert E. Manley (Jana) of Tacoma, brother John Phillip Manley (Violet) of Port Orchard, sister Irene Baker of Renton, two granddaughters Jennifer Jones and Heather Manley, two grandsons Sean and Erik Manley, two great grandchildren Aria and Adrian, and a number of nieces and nephews. There will be no funeral services. Instead of flowers, please make donations to Hospice in Silverdale.
