Gloria was born on December 12, 1948 to Macario Nicha and Florentina Opena in Camiling, Balaoan, La Union, Philippines. She is the oldest of 7 children. She graduated from St. Rita Hospital College of Nursing and School of Midwifery in the Philippines in April 1971. She worked in a few hospitals in Manila, before working tirelessly at Harrison Medical Center for 29 years.
She married Ponce Enriquez on May 8, 1976, and was married for 48 years. She truly lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures; chatting with friends and family, and spending time with her grandsons. She is survived by her husband, her daughter Jennifer (Enriquez) Boydon, her siblings Romy, Lety, Alejandro, and Arthur, her 2 grandsons Kai and Kyler Boydon, and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
There will be a public viewing at Miller-Woodlawn in Bremerton on Wednesday 02/26/25 from 2-8pm. Funeral mass will held on Thursday 02/27/25 at 11am at Holy Trinity. The funeral mass will be live-streamed at www.holyt.org for those who are unable to attend the service. Burial and reception will follow at Miller-Woodlawn.
