Jeanne Maree Wood, 79, of Bremerton, WA, passed unexpectedly but quietly on April 16, 2025. She is survived by her daughter, Shari Flatley (Kevin); son, Gordon Wood Jr. (Dawn); grandsons Ryan, Tyler (Sarah), and granddaughter Megan. Jeanne was born in York, Nebraska, to William & Alice DeCamp on June 1, 1945. In 1971, Jeanne and husband Gordon Wood Sr., made their home in Bremerton, Washington, where she lived until their divorce in 1986. She then moved to Colorado in 1991 to be closer to her sister, Jan. Nieces Susan and Julie, great nephew, Will, as well as her brother-in-law Chuck Thomas, still reside in Lakewood, CO. Following the death of her sister, Jeanne returned to Bremerton to be closer to her daughter. A devote Christian, she was a member of Sylvan Way Church in Bremerton, WA, and previously attended the Church of Christ of Lakewood, CO and Church of Christ of Bremerton, WA.
A memorial will be held at Sylvan Way Church, 900 Sylvan Way, Bremerton, WA, on May 31st at 1pm.
