Kay served in the Marines during the Korean War. He often spoke of his time in Japan and Hawaii with fond memories. He worked for NAPA, All in One Boating, and The Fleet. Kay volunteered at Harrison Hospital in the E.R. More than likely, his was the first face you would see and he was always willing and ready to help. Kay also spent many hours in the lobby performing his favorite job of all, making people smile! He never met a stranger and often stated that “such a thing doesn’t exist”. He loved telling people stories.
