

Ken was a cherished husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He devoted his life to serving others, starting as a Pastor in 1983. He became a Police Officer in Wapato, Washington in 1995, later transferring to the Bremerton Police Department in 2001. He retired as a Detective in 2012. Ken found his full calling in supporting First Responders and their families as a Chaplain, through the Adopt-A-Cop program and his integral role in Critical Incident Stress Management. His compassion, love, integrity, and dedication left a lasting impact on many lives.
Ken is survived by his wife, Catherine, son, Chris, daughter, Amber, six grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren along with his brother, Les and sister, Twyla. He was preceded in death by his father, mother, sister, and brother.
Two services will be held in his honor. While both services are open to all, the Celebration of Life for friends and family will take place at 1:00 pm on Saturday, January 18th, 2025, at Christian Worship Center located at 14128 NW Holly Rd, Seabeck, WA 98380.The graveside service at Miller-Woodlawn in Bremerton is open to Law Enforcement, Police/City Admin, Dispatchers, CISM members, and others who work with First Responders. This service will be held Monday January 27th, 2025 at 1:00 pm.
