

She received Christ at an early age and grew up in the Sinclair Missionary Baptist Church, where she sang in the choir and participated in many Church activities. Lorether grew up in Bremerton where she attended West High. During her time at West High, Lorether was a well-rounded student who was involved in many activities including school clubs and sports. Lorether fell in love with the sport Track and Field and and was a sprinter for West High. She ran the 100m dash, along with the 4x100m relay and the 200m dash. She was very talented from a young age and her sprint talent showed at every race.
Lorether had a smile that lit up the room and was like no other. She brought an aura of love and happiness wherever she went and her positive energy rubbed off on those around her. Lorether was the true definition of fun. She enjoyed spending quality time with friends and family. She enjoyed listening to music and dancing, she loved listening to her favorite artists Toni Braxton, Boyz II Men, Michael Bolton and Michael Jackson. Lorether also enjoyed playing darts, bingo, board games, watching cooking and game shows and most importantly spending time with her grandchildren. Jaylon, Ke'Ajanay, Serenity, King, Zariyah, Brooklyn, Emani, Eric III, Amari, and Ka'mari.
Lorether was a kind soul who always put others before herself. She was a dedicated and hardworking woman who conquered any obstacle that came her way. She was a friendly person who loved to make new friends and have a good conversation. She was the proud mother of five lovely children Ashley, Amber (Eric), Alyssa, Allen, and Aubrianna.
Lorether is proceeded in the Heavenly Gates by her Mother Gladys Lee Lewis, sister Carla D. Lewis-Floyd, granddaughter Ka'Layiah Dewberry and niece Demerius Henderson.
She leaves behind to cherish her memories, her husband Patrick Mahon, her children and grandchildren, as well as her sisters and brother Yulanda Montgomery, twin sister Lolether Nix, Kenneth Leroy Lewis-Carter (all of Bremerton Washington), and Tonya Lewis-Williams (of Oakland California). Among the rest she leaves behind a host of nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles, cousins and lots of friends that became family.
