Michelle Irene Harkness

Michelle Irene Harkness, 58, of Seabeck, WA, passed away on February 9, 2026, at St. Michaels Medical Center, following a courageous, but short battle with Leukemia. She was surrounded with love until the very end.

Born on April 27, 1967, in Bremerton, WA, Michelle was a woman of rare grace. While undeniably beautiful, her true spirit came from within. She possessed a kind, giving soul and a heart that loved without limits. A quiet force of nature, Michelle lived her life always supporting others, ensuring that everyone in her circle felt seen, supported, and deeply loved. She made everything look effortless. She was a devoted wife, a nurturing mother, and a doting Nana who found her greatest joy in her family. Michelle’s legacy is one of selflessness, she was the person who moved quietly behind the scenes to make life better for those she loved.

She leaves behind her devoted husband of 37 years, Bob Harkness. She is also survived by her daughter, Ashley Walchok (Zachary), and her son, Brett Harkness (Arian). Her beloved grandson, Jackson Walchok, was a constant source of joy in her life. She also leaves behind countless friends and family members who will never forget the adventures they shared, and the nights spent around the campfire. All who knew her will remember her love and her gentle spirit.
