Taunya Ann Welch-Olson

Taunya Ann Welch-Olson, aged 53, from Bremerton, Washington, passed away on Tuesday, February 25, 2025. Born on April 2, 1971, in Bremerton, she was the beloved daughter of Daryl and Marlene (Rowley) Olson. Taunya spent her childhood in Keyport. Completed her high school education with Kings West Private school. She later earned an Associate's Degree and dedicated her career to customer service and raising her two children.

Known for her spontaneous spirit and strength, Taunya always prioritized her friends and family. She had a contagious laugh and embraced new adventures that allowed her to connect with others. Her warm smile and ability to engage in conversation with anyone made her a cherished presence. Taunya lived each day with purpose, creating unforgettable memories along the way.

A lover of comedy, she enjoyed reality TV, stand-up performances, and playful roasts. Her infectious humor, silly expressions, and witty jokes brought joy to those around her. Taunya had a remarkable ability to find the silver lining in every situation, seeing the good in people and valuing their life experiences. She approached relationships with an open heart, free from judgment, and championed kindness, confidence, and education. Taunya will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing and loving her.

Taunya is survived by her daughter: Winnie, son: Brodhi, her mom: Marlene, Significant partner: Joel, Son-in-law: Truett, grand daughter: Aubrey, grandson: Ve.

A a celebration of taunya's life for Taunya will be held Saturday, April 5, 2025 at 1:00 pm at Keyport Bible Church, 15270 Washington Ave NE, Keyport, WA 98345, followed by a reception gathering from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM. Miller Woodlawn Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
