Terry Lee Tooke

Terry was born on June 7, 1951, in E. Wenatchee, WA, to Willette and Ruth Ardes . He graduated from Eastmont High and went on to earn a degree in Business Administration from Washington State University. He joined the Navy in 1974 and was commissioned as a Supply Corps Officer upon graduation from Officer Candidate School. He retired after 20 years of service. Terry holds a MS in Systems Management from University of Southern California. Upon retirement from the Navy, Terry began his second career as IT Operations Manager for a legal systems company in Bellevue, WA, retiring in 2010.

Terry enjoyed playing golf, riding his motorcycle and traveling. He is a long time and active member of Bremerton Elks Lodge.

Terry was preceded in death by his father, Willette, mother Ruth Ardes and step-father Leonard Jones.

Terry is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Rose; sons Kelvin and Alex and sister Tammy. Also left behind are granddaughter, Leah, twin grandsons, Julian and Ethan and daughter-in-law, Heather.

Terry was a generous, warm and caring man. He fulfilled the purpose that he set for himself providing for his family. He believed in "having fun and doing good."

A memorial service will be held on December 22 at 1:00 p.m. at the Bremerton Elks Lodge, followed by a celebration of life.
