Wendie Ann McDonald

Wendie was born on November 8, 1964 in Bremerton, Washington where she graduated from Bremerton High School in 1983. She proceeded to achieve her Bachelors of Business Administration from the University of Puget Sound in Tacoma, Washington and followed up with her Master’s in Business Finance from City University. She met the love of her life, Paul, in Bremerton Washington. They got married in 1985 and were married for 39 years.

Wendie went on to successfully start her own bookkeeping business which she operated for over 20 years. She loved her puppy, family, and her business (in that order). She loved to travel, read books, and family reunions. She was happiest reading her books on a warm beach with a margarita in hand.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Darla Hartley. She leaves behind cherished memories to her husband of 39 years, Paul; sons, Josh and Zack; brother, Jeff; parents, Ron and Pat Marshall; stepfather, Scott; stepsister, Traci and Terri; and her fur baby Roxie.

The family invites you to join them for a 2pm Graveside Service at Miller-Woodlawn Memorial Park on Wednesday, June 5, 2024. A Celebration of Life will follow on Saturday, June 22, 2024 from 5pm-7pm at Tree House Café, 2569 Lynwood Center Rd NE, Bainbridge Island .

In lieu of flowers, donations in Wendie’s honor are appreciated to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle or Saint Michael’s Hospital in Silverdale.
