Ms. Anna Marie Biancaniello Angolia

Anna Marie Biancaniello Angolia, 78, of Cottage City, MD, passed away on Tuesday, May 30, 2023. She was the wife of Carl F. Angolia, Jr. for almost 46 years. Born on April 3, 1945, in Takoma Park, MD, she was the daughter of Frank and Beatrice Biancaniello. In addition to her husband, Carl, she is survived by her son, Robert (Alicia); 2 Grandchildren: Abigail and Addison. She is also survived by her brothers, Anthony and his wife Rose, brother Frances and his wife Mary Jean. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Michael Scott Bowling.

Anna was a true caregiver, her passion to care for others started in her early years as a nurse, and she carried over this innate ability, as she would tend to the side of her parents and son Scott. She loved spending time at their condominium, playing cards with family and friends, beating her husband Carl in Rummy Cube, and getting into heated political and sometimes unruly debates. She was deeply involved in her community as a Commissioner, and held numerous positions, which helped others, achieve their personal and professional goals.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, June 6, 2023 from 12:30 to 1:30 PM at Fort Lincoln Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held at 1:30 pm after the viewing. Interment will be on the grounds of Fort Lincoln Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association, or the American Cancer Society.
