Passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 24, 2018. Born in a log cabin in Kentucky, she left home during World War II to become one of the women known as "Rosie the Riverter". She expanded her education and became part of NASA's team supporting the Space Shuttle Program.
Beloved by her family, she is survived by three sons and their spouses, Charles and Sarah, Stephen and Bonnie and Randy and Debbie; nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends. Family will receive friends on Friday, April 27 from 9:30 a.m. until time of service 10:30 a.m. at Fort Lincoln Funeral Home, 3401 Bladensburg Road, Brentwood, MD. Interment Fort Lincoln Cemetery.
