Clemantine “Mama” Ann Galloway Linville earned her wings Sunday, September 20, 2020.

She was born to the late, Benjamin Galloway Sr. and Bessie Bingham on May 6, 1942 in Welch, West Virginia. Her beloved parents relocated their family back to North Carolina in 1954. During this time, Clemantine received her education from Rockingham County Public Schools. She attended Business College after relocating to Washington, DC in 1961 upon graduating high school. She was married to the late, James “Papa” Leroy Linville in 1962, out of this union, came three children.

Clemantine served Metro (WMATA) for 28 years; where she was well-loved and respected by her colleagues. Being a true woman of GOD, “Mama” loved to share the Word of Christ with all. Clemantine leaves to cherish her memories, three devoted children, James(Sandra) Linville, Renee Evans, and Clemmie Linville; brother Robert Galloway; two sisters, Dorothy Patterson and Doris Moore; 8 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends. Clemantine “Mama” Ann Galloway Linville we be sorely missed by all but NEVER FORGOTTEN!
