To my loving Aunt Sis, you are missed by us all.  I will cherish the moments we had with you all the way back when you use to squeeze my chubbie cheeks. Let’s talk about those cakes that we all couldn’t wait for. Yummy!!! I will miss our phone conversations we use to have from time to time as well. I’ll be talking to you still. You lived a great life, tell my Grandfather Rozier  and Grancy I’m missing them so very much and love you all 🤗❤️. Love Shanel & Family 

I was very sorry to hear that .Cousin  Cora Davis .had passed. Condolences   to the family.. We alway loved when she would  come to see our family   in Brodnax ,Va. . Sympathy from the  whole Rivers. Family.   May you find comfort  with the lord.
 

We went to a restaurant and had crab balls the day this pic was taken.   LaVerne came back to California talking about how good these crab calls are.  I had to have them my next trip to DC so off Sis and I went.  I have so many fond memories of Sis.

We were sad to hear of the passing of one of our family member.   She will be greatly missed among us here in Virginia.  Remembering family coming home for the summer sitting out on front porches ,talking and laughing  about old times.  And now she takes her rest in peace .

We are sending our condolences 🙏. I remeber cutting Ms Blair s hair a couple years ago an she was so fun to talk to an full of spunk and really sweet. Love Yvette and the Rice and Tancil family.

Cora, or Aunt Sis as she was lovingly known; was my mother Mildred Wilkins' sister.  She was the last living child, of the "12" children born to Fitzhugh and LuEllen Davis.  Also, Grandpa Fitz and Grandma LuEllen passed away in 1970 & 1971 respectively.  My heart still misses her and the quality time I spent understanding more about navigating this life.  Her words of advice, strong tie to the Davis family and giving spirit, are things I will always remember about her.  Though you have left us physically, your warmth and kindness I will never forget.  As your nephew (Gerald Wilkins,) I Love you and miss you deeply.  

Mrs. Cora was my heart, there are no words for the person she was. She had heart a of of gold.    Mrs. Cora aways had words of wisdom no matter what I asked her. Today I still hear her telling me things that stay  instilled in my head.  We traveled together and had some good times. She would always reminiscent about the places we would go and just laughed, because I knew she had fun.  I'm  gonna miss you so very much Mrs. Cora.  So very much.
