My sincere condolences to the family of Mrs. Ernestine Johnson.  The memories she and I shared will live on forever!!  I will always remember and cherish our fun times and plentiful conversations!  Thank you for all the love and support over the years and just being you.  As heaven welcomes and embraces you with open arms, take your rest in total peace!!

In the tender embrace of this moment, we gather to bid a fond farewell to Ernestine Johnson, a luminous soul whose life was a tapestry of love, resilience, and remarkable grace. As the beloved mother of my mentor, her influence has touched not only her immediate family but also the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing her. Today, as we lay her to rest, we honor a life beautifully spent, a life that leaves behind a legacy of profound impact and cherished memories.

Ernestine's journey was one adorned with kindness and an unwavering spirit. Her nurturing love and boundless support shaped the person my mentor has become, serving as a testament to her incredible wisdom and nurturing nature. It is through Ernestine's nurturing that my mentor was able to share their own light with the world, and her presence will forever be reflected in the guidance and wisdom they provide.


Bill, Stony  and I will always remember Mama very fondly. She has brought many smiles to my face. God bless you and your family. 

Auntie Ernestine was always full of laughter and had such a great smile. I remember her and Uncle Smitty will come over my Mom house and they will have such a great time.
I know both of them are together right now smiling and laughing. Its never easy losing a loved one but please remember the good times you all shared with your Mom, my Aunt Ernestine.

A rose who blossomed for a while. Closed her scroll and left a smile. For all to see. HE brushed her eyes with angels wings then called her home so she could sing. For all eternity. Left to mourn a daughter and some sons and all the battles that she won. Just to give them life. I find it hard to press my palms while mother’s fading in my arms. I lost a mom and I lost a friend. A mothers love that knows no end. But I’ll be fine. She survived many mornings to see the sun. GOD forgive her for her sins cause here she come. This child of yours. This mother of mine! If I’m to believe in things unseen. She was welcomed thru the gates. She’s been redeemed. Shine bright mother!!!

If I am no longer able to exchange a glance with you. I’ll see you with my heart. Wounded eyes can only see a wounded sky. I awake to the symphony of your sound. Those very melodies that have been a beacon light of hope and direction thru this wilderness called life. Silent whispers create silent tears. Loving us all long after the love we had for ourselves lost its shine. There’s no prescription for my shattered soul. May we find strength in each tear we cry. Slumber peacefully Mother! You’ve earned your rest!!!

Deepest condolences to the Purifoy - Johnson family on the loss of an absolutely beautiful soul.  She will be missed.
