Everett was educated in the D.C Public Schools. He graduated from Anacostia High School in 1966. He later attended Southeastern University in Washington, D.C. and received his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration in 1973. He began his professional career in 1972 as a computer operator with the IBM Corporation. After 25 years he retired from IBM as a program analyst. During retirement he worked for the National Archives in College Park, MD. as a Records Management Specialist.
Everett was blessed with a son, Everett in 1978 and later, two stepsons, Rashad and Harry. As a strong-willed role model, he stressed the importance of working hard and taking care of one’s family. He took great pride in ruling with a firm hand and consistency.
Everett will be missed, but not forgotten.
