I met Ann freshman year of college.  She was full of energy, fun and love with a voice of an angel.  She could sing and harmonize to any tune.
I spent some time with her in Philadelphia when her Dad was undergoing treatment at Temple Hospital.  She’d zip around traffic in the Studabaker, wearing  her Mom’s fur coat.  She was a wonderful daughter and Dr. O’Toole would just light up when she went into his room.  She loved him so dearly, but then, she loved everyone.  Fifty years later I shared a room with her in Charleston SC for a mini college reunion.  It was a happy, fun weekend in the “holy” city.
I will always think of her beautiful face and smile.  Rest in peace my wonderful friend.  You were truly loved, I’ll miss you.

My dear Ann. Our silly giant of a dog Mia took us from neighbors to friends. You were the reason we were able to keep Mia, sitting with her many afternoons when we first adopted her and helping her adjust to her new home. You spoiled her with endless treats and gifts, spent countless hours snuggling on the couch, and continued do dote on her (and us!) after we moved. We were so lucky to have you as our neighbor and friend.  We love you and hope you continue watching over Mia from up above.

My dearest Ann, it's with deep sorrow that I have to say farewell and never to see you again. Our paths crossed through work but we became friends.  You treated me like a mother and you showed me so much love.  I am happy you  have finally reunited with your beloved husband Don whom you longed for every blessed day. May your gentle soul RIPP. May your journey be s.ooth.
