Jean was an amazing woman, friend, wife, and mother. She was an extremely loving, generous, funny, strong-willed, patriotic, classy and charismatic woman who loved God, life, Christmas, animals, fighting for the underdog, and most of all her family. A remarkable person with such a big heart and smile, an artist, actress, photographer, and army brat, Jean spent over 20 years volunteering at Walter Reed Army Medical Hospital providing comfort, entertainment and friendship to wounded soldiers and their families. Although her final days were not painless, she is now at peace in a well-deserved rest. She was one of those persons whose bright soul lit up a room and now her spirit will continue to shine in the heavens.
Her sudden passing has left a deep void in her family’s and friend’s hearts and she will always be remembered fondly and with much love. Jean is survived by her two daughters, Lydia and Lise, her two sisters Amy and Daisy, and two brothers, Phillip and Julian.
