Margaret Mae “Peggy” Roth age 91 passed away on 5/21/23. Peggy grew up on an army post in Ft. Meyer, Va., before moving to Cottage City, Md., during her junior year of high school where she enjoyed being on the basketball team. She graduated from Bladensburg High School in 1950. She worked as a secretary for the government in “rent control”. Peggy met the love of her life, David, in 1958 at a bowling alley. They married on February 14, 1959. After two years, they started their family and Peggy decided to be a full time homemaker. Her greatest joy was being able to stay at home and raise her four children. She was in a duckpin bowling league for several years and earned many awards. Peggy was the best mother her children could ever ask for as she always put them first before herself. She was preceded in death by her husband David of 47 years, her daughter in law Kelly, and her grandson Matthew. She is survived by her sister Mildred Wagner, her four children, Paul, Philip (Christine), Alice Eppley (David) and Robert (Kelly). Also survived by seven grandchildren and one great grandchild.
