Martin was born on October 6, 1970, in Brooklyn, NY. He received his early education at the United Nations Playgroup and Allen-Stevenson School, and later attended The Hotchkiss School. He went on to pursue higher education at American University before continuing at the American University Washington College of Law.
Martin was known for his strong work ethic, warmth, honesty, vibrant energy, and fun-loving spirit, leaving a lasting impression on all who knew him. He was a loving husband, a cool and caring uncle, and someone who deeply valued the time spent with those he loved.
He was preceded in death by his mother and father. Martin is survived by his devoted wife of nearly 20 years, siblings, as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends who will cherish his memory and carry his legacy forward.
A private viewing is scheduled for Saturday, February 28, at 4:00 PM. The funeral service will take place on Sunday, March 1, at 12:00 PM at Fort Lincoln Funeral Home and Cemetery.
