Mary Lillie Gross

Mary Lillie Gross, 89 of Wilson, NC. Our beloved matriarch, wife, mother, grandmother, and family friend to all peacefully passed away on Saturday, October 13, 2018. She is survived by her five children, Deborah, Mary, Mark, Clifton, and Willie; step children Doris and Raymond; and preceded in death by her husband Elmer Jr. and sons Louis & Elmer III. She is also survived by 21 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren, 21 great-great grandchildren and a host of cousins and other relatives. Mary loved to cooked & entertain family & friends, she loved to travel and she was a Washington Redskins Super Fan.

Services will be held at Faith Tabernacle United Holy Church of America (UHCA) at 300 A Street, NE Washington, DC on Saturday, November 3, 2018, with visitation at 9:00 AM and Home Going Service at 10:30 AM. The Interment will be held at the Fort Lincoln Funeral Home & Cemetery at 3401 Bladensburg Road, Brentwood, MD @ 2:00 PM.

In lieu of flowers, the family will accept financial contributions to celebrate and honor our matriarch as we participate and support the Alzheimer’s Foundation initiatives. Funeral arrangements are being handled by the Fort Lincoln Funeral Home & Cemetery, 3401 Bladensburg Road, Brentwood, MD.
