

Pauline Frances Williams, the daughter of the late Zedric and Ella Wise, was born on January 31, 1927 in New Church, Virginia, and departed this life on January 15, 2025.
She joined Friendship Methodist Church in Wattsville, Virginia at an early age and was very active in Sunday School and Youth Fellowship activities. Pauline attended public schools in Accomack County, Virginia until her family relocated to Snow Hill, Maryland where she attended Worchester High School, graduating in 1944. She later attended Atlantic Business College.
She joined her sister in Washington, DC, where she began working for the U.S. Army. During the 37 years she spent working for various branches of the Army, she received many outstanding swards and certificates before retiring in 1982. In April 1962, she married Raphael Williams and the couple enjoyed over 62 loving years of marriage years. From this marriage, their daughter Denise was born.
In 1967, Pauline joined Asbury United Methodist Church where she was active in the Food Pantry, the Commission on Missions and Evangelism, and the United Methodist Women (now United Women of Faith)
Pauline was an avid reader and collector of stamps and coins. She enjoyed traveling, ballroom dancing, and entertaining family and friends. She was a very thoughtful and caring person who will be greatly missed by family, friends and neighbors.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, and six brothers. She is survived by her husband, Raphael, daughter Denise, and grandson Adam, one brother, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
