To the Pate Family & Friends,

I met Sonny in the VA Health & Wellness Integrated Program (iRest and Meditation). I was the only female in a class of all men. I suffer with PTSD/MST.  Sonny jovial disposition welcomed me and made me feel so safe. For 3 years, his jokes, laughter, compassion for others, I could hear in Sonny's voice. Surprisingly, I have never met Sonny in person and I'm glad that our communication was through sound. and to see a person though sound and never having seeing him was very special.  He was and is a good human.

Uncle Sonny I love 💗 you so much! I am thankful to have an uncle who was always there for me - supporting me in every way big or small. I will miss the laughs we shared joking about our favorite teams. I will miss you voice, your presence. Forever in my heart, forever loved!!
