I remember growing up on S. Street during a time when family togetherness meant everything. 
Aunt Saundra (my best friend’s Mom) used to take me to school. She was always very protective and loving. She made you feel safe and feel seen. I’ll never forget the block parties we used to have and Aunt Saundra would take out the buckets and start her own little gogo band. She was thee party starter. She knew how to have a good time. I’ll hold onto those special moments .

Sandra Cherry Williams was a beautiful person in every way. I met her through Vanessa after she was hospitalized a couple years ago. She lived in a nursing facility for a while, and despite the challenges of that situation, she never complained. When I went to visit her, I complained a lot, but not Sandra…a Diet Coke is all it took to light up her face.  Make no mistake, she didn’t like living in the facility, but she knew she had to work hard to get well and get back home. When she got back home, I helped Vanessa to get her to appointments a couple times so she could get her cataracts removed. After the first cataract was removed, all the way home she was telling us all the colors she saw…”the sky is blue, that sign is red…” After the second cataract was removed, she almost danced down the hallway to her follow-up doctor appointment.  Sandra was all joy. She lived her life to the fullest, and I will truly miss her. Rest in peace sweet angel.

One of my favorite people , she was so loving and caring.  She would walk my daughter to school everyday along with Vanessa and  I never had to worry about her safety because she was that much of a protector.  You are going to be missed  dearly. .

Galatians 5:22 describes my Mom.  Mom was very fruitful.  Mom shared love, joy, goodness, kindness, peace, patience and great faithfulness.   I will remember her words "Stay Strong Vanessa".  Moreover, Mom would tell us to celebrate our birthday for the entire month. I will continue to make Mom proud and activate the fruits of the spirit. Rest in  peace Mom.  I thank God for blessing us to know Mom.  Peace and Blessings to all.

I have so many good memories of times with you. The one that I will hold dear is when I ran into you at WHC and how it felt like no time had
Passed since we last saw each other. You didnt recognize me at first because I had my mask on. It was only God that gave us that special moment together. I will love you forever.

Ms. Sandra was a beautiful soul, full of life and spicy with a loving aura. She will be missed. Happy to have been able to meet her and share life with her for a time.

There is no one in this world like your mom. Through you, I saw what true, unconditional love looks like. 

Your mom was one of the most important, influential, and strong women I've had the pleasure of knowing.   " I remember when we would  visit your mom & also take her to church with us on few occasions." 

Her smile , kindness, generosity, and caring nature were truly contagious, and her memory will live on forever in all the lives she touched.   The world is a little less bright without her, but her beautiful legacy will live  on.

Your mom's love was a never-ending song of comfort, and I know that tune will remain in our hearts forever. I'm so sorry for this immeasurable loss,  but I am so grateful to have witnessed the powerful love she gave.


Hold on to one another during times like these. She will be truly missed.  Prayers 🙏🏽 🙌🏾 for Comfort,  Healing and Strength through these difficult times.

May God continue to comfort and grant you peace in the difficult time ahead. May the precious memories of your mom dwell in your heart forever. I am so sorry for your loss but I know that "the peace of God that excels all thought will guard your heart...by means of Christ Jesus."

To my family: May God continue to bless you and keep you during this time of grievance.  Cousin Sandra came to Connecticut for a whole Summer & babysat me when I was a little baby while my Mother, Dorothy & Father, Percy worked.  You will forget somethings, but never how someone made you feel. Sandra treated me with care. May that type of gentle care she gave linger in your hearts forever.  Our sincerest condolences to you family.

Sending condolences to my family. Cousin Sandra was full of life. She looked so much like Aunt Bernice. To her children, I pray that you all continue to strengthen each other as you heal from this loss. God will take care of you!

To Vanessa, my sister thank you for the beautiful memories that I have for you and your mother. Your mother was a good woman and would do anything for you. I remember how she cared and loved  you all.  Her  girls she truly demonstrated what a mother truly was. God bless you and your family and I hope you can find peace in your memories with her. Love you always.

My auntie gave the best hugs and kisses and always have the biggest smile no matter the circumstances she was hard working and loved deeply family meant everything to her to us she stood for something and never gave up without a fight strong willed beautiful soul sista who supported loved cherished everything literally so grateful so authentic. She made life look easy because of her spirit a vessel that made us connect we live through her and she lives through us full of life good or bad ready for whatever challenges that could and can arise i am forever grateful and honored to have experience such great depth of love and power in being your great niece I thank you auntie for all of your love, sacrifices and wisdom you’re greatly appreciated you’ll always be apart of my heart forever I love you Auntie rest in paradise xoxo
