On Sunday, January 26, 2025, at the young age of 56, Sean transitioned on to be with the Lord. He was beloved by his family and adore as a husband, father, son, brother, grandfather, uncle, and friend.
He will forever be known for his unique detail to fashion and impeccable style of dress, for his peaceful spirit which accented his exceptionally calm demeanor-a man of very few words who processed a humorous personality, his protective nature, and loving ways, along with his immense love of family. His Journey on this earth was marked by love, compassion, and an unwavering faith in God, whom he referred to as his Doctor.
Sean Anthony Hylton took his first breath into this world on March 6, 1968, and was born to the late Norman Donald and Mallory Hylton in Washington D.C. He was the baby of a family of boys but was the “Big Brother” to them all. A favorite uncle to all his nieces and nephews, Papa to his grandchildren all of whom saw him as the light of their day. His light would shine on all whom he encountered, it came guaranteed with a smile and a kind word that would give you a chuckle and brighten your day. Two for one.
Sean attended Bell Vocational High School and graduated from Cardoza Senior High School in Washington, DC. He attended All-State Tractor Trailer School in Baltimore, MD, where he earned his Commercial Driver’s License, CDL. He always had an entrepreneurial spirit, and acted on it as he ventured into the restaurant, cleaning, and trucking businesses all of which he opened and incorporated during different time periods throughout his life and the latter while working a full time as a fireman with the Baltimore City Fire Department. His entrepreneurial spirit prevailed again as he ventured out and later became a full time owner/operator of his own Trucking business (Budget Trucking & Transport Services), as he worked for many years before joining SLG Sky Chiefs as a driver at, Reagan National Airport.
Sean, a lover of life, everything about it and everyone he encountered in it. He loved people and would go on to leave a lasting legacy of love, compassion and devotion with everyone who knew him. If he saw a need he aimed to remedy a solution. He was loyal to his heart. He would come whenever you called no matter how simple the request, or the time of day. He was reliable and took much pleasure in being a blessing to someone else. He’s love for family especially the children was incredible. Always offering words of wisdom like an old man many years before his time, (Old Man Jake). He loved his family, and his kids was his life. He was big on support and encouragement, their accomplishment always filled him with a sense of pride as he would say with no hesitation “I’m proud of you.” He truly loved kids. He had a contagious sense of humor and could have you laughing in stitches, and somehow still manage to hold that “Cool Cat” persona. Family and friends who knew him well would referred to him as “Cool A#$ Sean,” or (Franky Beverly). What a BEAUTIFUL soul!
In sadness we know that while he may have left this world, he will never leave our hearts – in every laugh we share, every story we tell and every Franky Beverly song we hear at the family gatherings and celebrations with friends, we will think of Sean and how much he touch our lives. His impact will leave a permanent imprint in our hearts. We Love You Sean!
Sean is survived by his adoring family who will forever and always cherish his memory:
