Theodore Roosevelt Riley

Ted is survived by his mother Elizabeth; his wife, Zarline; his children, Tyrone and Theodore, Jr.; his grandchildren; Tanija, Michael, Ethan, T'nia, Theodore (Te'lenn), Logan and Lai'Yonna; his siblings; Pat, McKinley, Jr., Brenda, Carl, and Debra. Ted is preceded in rest by his father McKinley, Sr., his brother Raymond and a niece Dorothy.

Ted was born on August 7, 1958 in Washington, DC to McKinley and Elizabeth. He graduated from Bladensburg High in 1979 and soon after began serving for the United States Army. Ted discharged from the military after four years and went on to become a U.S Marshal. He married Zarline his childhood sweetheart in 1979. Over the next forty years, the couple welcomed 2 children into their life and Ted set about teaching and building them into men. Ted's children remember him as a driven and passionate father who encouraged them to pursue their goals.

Building a foundation of love, hard work, trust, duty and family. Ted was a generous, witty and dedicated individual who loved his wife and who was passionate about his sons future, his grandchildren and making sure that they were happy.

His final resting place will be at Cheltenham Cemetery.
