Bonita Mae Riddle Henderson

Funeral services for Bonita Mae (Riddle) Henderson will be held at the Bridgeport New Life Assembly of God Church on Saturday, February 1, 2014 at 10:00 a.m.  She passed from this life on Monday, January 13, 2014 in Wichita, Kansas at the age of 81 years.

Bonita was born in Bridgeport, Nebraska on November 15, 1932 to Ralph and Stella Riddle, whom she will be buried beside at the Oregon Trail Memorial Cemetery.   Her brothers, H. Dwain Riddle and Gerald R. Riddle preceded her in death.  Bonnie is survived by her children, Pamela, Leonard, and James Henderson, daughters-in-law Susan and Adrienne, many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Bonnie was educated primarily in the Bridgeport, Nebraska area.  She sacrificed her high school graduation to work and support her family, instead.  She met Billy Jean Henderson in Pasco, Washington, whom she married on February 15, 1957.  From this union her children were born.  The majority of Bonnie’s life was lived in Colorado where she was a homemaker and raised her children.  She loved to decorate for the holidays, baked the best banana cream pie ever, and was very generous with her family members.  Bonnie always tried her best and she will be dearly missed.  Her family is bringing her home to Bridgeport to lie with her beloved parents and rest in peace.
