Brandi R Livingston

Brandi R. Livingston, 50, of Broadwater, NE passed away  Saturday, July 19, 2014 in Scottsbluff. Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 26th, at 10:30 am at Messiah Lutheran Church in Broadwater with Ann Bairn, PMA officiating.

Memorials have been established in her name to Messiah Lutheran Church, Broadwater Fire Department, and Prairie Winds Community Center in Bridgeport.  Tributes of sympathy may be left at www.bbchapels.com.  Bridgeport Memorial Chapel is in charge of arrangements.

Brandi was born October 31, 1963 in Bridgeport to William and Cheri (Springsteen) Lally. She grew up in Bridgeport, graduating from Bridgeport High School. She married her husband, Mark Livingston, on August 7, 1982. The couple made their home on the Livingston Ranch in Broadwater.

Brandi worked as the Broadwater Village Clerk for 26 years, as well as the village Water Operator. She earned the Nebraska Outstanding Clerk of the Year in 2013 and was recognized as the Nebraska Outstanding Water Operator in 2010.  She also had several duties she performed on the ranch.      

She was very active in the community, serving on the Prairie Winds Community Center board, Scottsbluff/Morrill County Extension board, and teaching youth group, Sunday school, and vacation bible school.

Brandi enjoyed spending time with family, spoiling her grandchildren, gardening, arts and crafts, and baking. 

She was survived by her husband of 31 years, Mark; three children, Nathan (Kinley) of Omaha, Ryan (fiancé Trisha McDonald) and Jaslyn (boyfriend Braydon Parriott) of Broadwater; two grandchildren, Ellis and Willa; mother Cheri Lally of Broadwater; brothers Robert of Greeley, CO, Mike of Virginia Beach, VA, Noel (Jen) of Mesa, AZ, Kelly (Ann) of Alexandria, VA, and Cameron (Nicki) of Douglas, WY; mother-in-law Dora Livingston of Broadwater; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, in-laws and loved ones.

She was preceded in death by her father, Bill Lally; grandparents; and father-in-law Verlin Livingston.
