Diane Charlene Anderson

    Her funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 4, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at the Community Bible Church in Bayard with Pastor Bradley Kihlthau officiating.  Interment will follow at the Bayard Cemetery.  

    Visitation will be Wednesday from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Bayard Memorial Chapel.

     Diane was born on December 8, 1944 in Decatur, Illinois to Junior B and Edna L. (Watts) Howard. She received her education in Decatur, Ill.   She attended Western Nebraska Community College.   

     She was united in marriage to Andrew Anderson on April 27, 1963 in Decatur, Illinois.

     She was a member of the church.  Diane loved to quilt, paint, garden and cook.

     Diane is survived by her husband Andrew of Bayard; sons Anthony of Carthage, New York, Richard  of Portland, Oregon,  Darin of York, South Carolina and Joseph of Bayard; grandchildren: Brittany, Derick, Conner, Logan, Nicholas, Justin, Luke, Samantha and Sara; mother Edna Howard of Decatur, Illinois; brothers and sisters: Edward, Jimmy, Beverly, Debbie, Sharon and Laverna and numerous nieces and nephews.

    She was preceded in death by her father and son Andrew William Anderson.
