Luann Jean Carter

Luann Jean Carter, 63, of Bridgeport, died Sunday, January 24, 2016 at Skyview of Bridgeport. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 27, 2016 from 1-6 PM at Bridgeport Memorial Chapel. Her funeral service will be held at 10 AM on Thursday, January 28, 2016 at the Bridgeport Church of Christ with Pastor Jonathan Seng officiating. Luann was born July 17, 1952 at Chicago, Illinois to Harold and Carol (Hrymack) Larsen. She received her education in Florida and attended the University of Florida for two years. Luann worked as a postal carrier for several years and for JC Penney for a few years.

Luann was united in marriage to Paul Carter on December 2, 1975 at Reno, Nevada. The couple made their home in Florida before moving to Bridgeport in 1985.

Luann is survived by her husband Paul of Bridgeport and his son Mike (Nancy) Carter of Minneapolis, MN and their children Lauren, Jacquelynn, and Michael, Jr.; brothers Tom Larsen, Jim Larsen, and Dean Larsen all of Florida; several nieces and nephews.

Luann was preceded in death by her parents.
