Anna K. Schmitt

Schmitt, Anna K. (nee Bolard) Born November 12, 1926 in Vienna, Austria. Went peacefully to be with her Heavenly Father on December 9, 2011 at the age of 85 years. Beloved wife of John W. Schmitt for 38 years. Most loving mother of Susan Mezouane and Monica (Todd) Kohlman. Cherished “Grama” of B.J. (Naomi), Anna, Katie, Ben and “Great-Grama” of Alexis, Katie, Kira and Preston. Loving step-mother of Jim (Sue) Schmitt, John J. (Marianne) Schmitt, Jane (Garrett) Gordon and the late Jeff “Spyder” (Laurie) Schmitt. Further survived by many other relatives and friends.

Anna was a longtime employee of Briggs and Stratton Corporation and became International Representative for the AIW. Anna and John were longtime residents of Fort Myers, FL and enjoyed traveling with frequent trips to Vienna, Austria. Anna was an avid gourmet cook who enjoyed entertaining family and friends.

Visitation Tuesday December 13, 5-7 PM at St. Anne’s Salvatorian Campus (3800 N 92nd St – Milwaukee). Mass of Christian Burial Wednesday December 14, 10:30 AM. Procession to Holy Cross Cemetery following Mass.
