Sandra Patricia Norris (Seekins)
July 14, 1946 – December 25, 2025
John and Sandra Norris, devoted partners in life for nearly six decades, are survived by their son Andrew Norris and his wife Kari; their daughter Andrea Jerozal (Norris) and her husband Jim; and their three beloved grandchildren Cameron Norris, Jason Jerozal, and Angelyn Jerozal. Sandra is also survived by her sister Gwen Bouras (Seekins).
Both John and Sandy grew up in the Milwaukee metro area, where each enjoyed childhoods shaped by time at family lake houses—fishing, swimming, and exploring the outdoors. John’s parents, William A. and Angelyn R. (Bartol) Norris, provided a loving home and opportunities for outdoor adventures, including years of Boy Scouts. Sandy’s parents, William T. and Patricia G. (Gardner) Seekins, raised their three children in Brookfield, where Sandy developed her lifelong love of sewing, cooking, and spending time outside.
John and Sandy met as teenagers, at 18 or 19, and quickly became inseparable. They married soon after and went on to share 59 years and 10 months of marriage.
Together they raised two children, and cultivated friendships that lasted decades. John and Sandy delighted in hosting and participating in a gourmet supper club, enjoyed bridge groups, played golf, and took great pride in creating and tending their yard. They also cherished their role as grandparents. Nothing brought them more joy than getting down on the floor to play with their grandkiddos—drawing pictures, creating with playdoh, and even teaching them to bake. Their presence in their grandchildren’s lives was treasured.
Anchoring Sandy was her faith in Jesus as her Savior, and she loved both studying and teaching the Bible. Her role as a spiritual mother will have generational ripples. Sandy dearly loved her community of Bible Study women and church family.
John and Sandy faced profound adversity following a car accident that prompted their relocation to Illinois for greater care. Despite these challenges, their devotion to one another never wavered. Expressed in the simple gestures of holding hands, loving smiles, and encouraging one another, all who witnessed it were touched. Their lives were deeply intertwined, and it is fitting that their earthly journeys concluded side by side, just as they lived.
John and Sandy leave behind a family who loved them dearly and a lifetime of memories that will continue to shape and bless those who knew them. Their devotion to one another remains an enduring example of commitment and love.
