John S. Verfurth

John S. Verfurth, Born to Eternal Life March 2, 2014 age 81 years. Beloved husband of Patricia (nee Maciejewski). Dear father of Michael, Karen (Keith) Lindsey and Kathy Verfurth. Loving grandpa of Nichole, Bradley and Brooke. Fond brother of James (Katherine) and Mary Verfurth. Preceded in death by his parents James and Margaret Verfurth, father-in-law and mother-in-law Tony and Clara Maciejewski, and brother-in-law Jerry Maciejewski. Further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. John was a Navy Veteran where he served in the Ceremonial Guard and the Seabees. He worked as a bricklayer for many years and then was a City of Milwaukee Building Inspector. John enjoyed spending time at the family cabin in Hazelhurst, WI.

Funeral Mass Thursday, March 13, 1 pm at St. John the Evangelist Church, 8500 W. Cold Spring Rd., Greenfield. In lieu of flowers, Masses would be appreciated.
